Inside Nadège's world: raising boys with consciousness

In this edition of Tiny Talks, we are delighted to step into Nadège Alice’s world. As a mother of two boys, soon three, she shares her heartfelt approach to family life, conscious parenting, and making thoughtful choices every day. Her story is a beautiful reminder that raising children with love also means raising them with awareness.

“I live with Vincent, we have been together for 14 years. We have two boys, Lou, 6 years old, and Solal, 3 and a half and we are expecting a third boy this summer! And of course Latte, our beloved dog. We met when we were very young, travelled a lot together, and starting this family was the natural continuation of all that: keeping this wonderful life going, with mini versions of ourselves.”

Was becoming a mother something that felt obvious to you?

Completely. I am the eldest of a large blended family and I took on that "little mom" role very early on. So when our sons arrived, it did not feel like learning something new. It was just the logical next step.

How do you and your partner share the day-to-day at home?

My husband is incredibly involved. He handles the wake-ups, breakfasts, school runs, and he cooks like a chef! I have a very demanding job, but there are things I never give up: the bedtime story, school meetings, planning our holidays and our activity-packed weekends. We bring very different but truly complementary things to our children.

You have a strong personal style. How would you describe it?

I love clothes that reflect your mood. I love being bold, I love patterns, beautiful things with a story behind them. Despite a very corporate job, I care about feeling like myself. And I absolutely love dressing my boys, it is a real joy. I invest in design pieces, quality jewelry, clothes that set us apart. I have never been afraid to stand out from the crowd.

What does sustainability mean to you, concretely?

I have always loved this saying: "I am too poor to buy bad quality." For me, consuming sustainably means being consistent with the way I want to raise my children on this planet: consuming less, but better. We eat organic as much as possible at home, and I try to shift the mindset of people around me, because consuming well does not necessarily cost more if you approach it the right way.

And when it comes to clothing for the children, how do you put that into practice?

Fast fashion simply does not exist in our home. I buy quality pieces for my eldest, knowing they will be passed down from brother to brother, still intact after a thousand adventures. My husband loves vintage and enjoys thrifting. We have found a great balance: new pieces bought as an investment, and second-hand treasures found in perfect condition.

What drew you to Tiny Little Love?

Our body is our largest organ. It is a sponge, and what we wear has a real impact on our health. Brands like Tiny Little Love, that champion clean products, sustainable materials, and organic cotton, are completely aligned with my values. That is exactly the kind of choice I want to make for my children. I dream of a world where everyone would have that awareness, for themselves and for the planet.
