Inspired by a traditional Cambodian story, passed down orally from generation to generation, the strength of this story lies in its formidable effectiveness when read aloud. It allows the child and parent to spend a wonderful moment of laughter and complicity, while discovering the physical pleasure of letters and words.

The story: A greedy little rabbit, attracted by beautiful fleshy bindweed, approaches the river. Too close. A large crocodile takes the opportunity to swallow him whole. In a real predicament, the little rabbit wonders how he's going to get out of that disgusting belly. When he hears his jailer rejoice at this fine capture with a loud and cruel "Heh heh heh", an idea comes to him: the rabbit invites the crocodile to articulate truly frightening sounds (and not a ridiculous little Heh heh heh). Stung in his pride, the crocodile will let himself be guided by the little rabbit, like an actor would be by his director... Until the final HA HA HA, which requires the crocodile to open its mouth wide. The clever rabbit takes advantage of the situation to escape, quite pleased!
